Macuco boat ride

The Macuco boat ride experience starts off with a Jungle ride on board of a wagon - pulled by an electric vehicle - for about three kilometers throughout the lush subtropical rainforest from Iguassu Falls. 

Experts on local fauna and flora give explanations on local specimens such as centenary trees, orchids, ferns and many more. A short hike happens right after the jungle ride, for almost one mile. 

Right after the hike - which You may skip, going directly to the dock by 4x4 vehicles rather than walking all the way down - You will be given life jackets and will board on a speed boat with 400 horsepower. 

You will get soaking wet hence the boat drives do it on purpose, but it's safe. The feeling of getting wet at Iguazu Falls on a hot day is a blessing, unique and refreshing experience indeed. 

There is a dry - boring - option for the boat ride in which the boat drivers do not get under the falls therefore guests avoid getting soaked, but to be honest, You do miss the best part of it.

  • The whole experience is wheelchair accessible;

  • If someone in your family has any sort of walking problem They may enjoy it as well, the access to the dock is done by a lift/elevator cable car;

  • Daily departures every 20 minutes from 09:30a.m until 05:30p.m;

  • Lockers are available under a cost but since You will be guided by our staff, They will be your very own personal lockers;

  • The company who does the boat ride does not give any sort of bags to protect your belongings but We do. We cover You with waterproof dry bags;

  • There is a lift/elevator cable car to go down/up to the dock; 

  • It takes around two hours (back 'n' forth), the boat is about 25 minutes;

In the standard-regular Macuco Boat Ride tour, You will be with other people, the wagon (Jungle Ride) and the boat (Boat Ride) both have capacity for around 24 people. We can organize it privately so You may have the whole experience just for You and your family. 

No waiting in lines at the beginning for departure, nor sharing the experience with others. Snacks and drinks included. Towels and raincoats will be provided. You will be the boss and say how You would like to enjoy the boat ride.
